My Relationship with Horses

What do horses and energy healing have to do with one another? For me, everything.
My saving grace was Allegria, a white Andalusian mare who became both my teacher and mirror. Through her, I discovered that horses embody the wisdom of nature and the purity of spirit. They live without the burden of human ego, responding only to the truth of the moment. In their presence, we are invited back into presence ourselves.
With Allegria, I learned teach her to be ridden without bridle for control, and guided by trust and connection. She revealed to me the essence of freedom and the possibility of a relationship built on respect, awareness, and flow. This bond inspired my name, Unicorn Maker.
Later, through my training with Natural Lifemanship in Equine Assisted Learning, I saw how horses reflect human emotions with startling clarity. They show us our anxiety, our hidden fears, and also our peace — without judgment. By guiding people to breathe, walk in rhythm, and attune to a horse’s emotions, I could help them reconnect with themselves. Horses, after all, are the ultimate teachers of energy: their survival depends on reading it accurately.
Horses also deepened my understanding of trauma and healing. Their bodies, designed as prey animals, respond instinctively to fear but also return quickly to curiosity and play once safety is established. In this way, they model the very balance we seek: awareness, resilience, and joy.
My journey with Allegria and her daughter, My Love, intertwined with my study of internal martial arts, mediumship, and spiritual philosophy. Over time, I came to see that the lessons of the horse echo the teachings of Jesus Christ, Buddha, Eckhart Tolle, Joe Dispenza, the Kybalion, the Emerald Tablets, and quantum physics itself: presence is power, and joy is the path.
Being a student of the horse has been my lifelong initiation into energy work, trauma release, and the alchemy of transformation. To this day, I believe horses are some of our greatest healers, reminding us how to move from fear into peace, from anxiety into presence, and from control into connection.
I thank my greatest influencers, Pat Parelli (Parelli Natural Horsemanship) for teaching me how to relate to humanity, Dr. Maria Katasamanis (The Alchemy of Lightness), for teaching me how to relate to horses on the quantum level, and Sylvia Zerbini of (Grand Liberte Farm), for showing all of us what it really looks like to be fully present and one with horses at liberty.
